I was so excited to set these three stunning pieces of Cornish Sea Glass within a series of simple but complimentary silver hammered circles. I love how the natural shapes of the sea glass contrast with the sparkle of the hammered silver circles, ever reminding us of the movement and energy of the sea.

I only use sea glass that I or my family and friends have collected from the many beautiful beaches we walk on around Cornwall. I set the sea glass exactly as I find it, preferring to work with its natural shape. It is an amazing experience and quite an obsession when collecting sea glass. I spend hours in perfect heaven hunting for that perfect piece of sea glass and generally have to be torn away from the beach as my family lose interest. I am always convinced that if only I have just one moment longer, I will find the most perfect piece possible.

I found two of these perfect pieces of Cornish Sea Glass on St Mawes beach and one nearby at St Just in Roseland. Each piece of Cornish Sea Glass measures approximately 17 mm x 14 mm in a combination of a pale teal green, teal blue and a darker teal blue/green. I set the sea glass in a sterling silver bezel setting, leaving the back open to allow the light to shine through and illuminate the colours of the sea glass. The hammered silver circles measure 12 cm in diameter and are made from 1.3 mm silver wire, and hammered to create the sparkling texture of the sun on the sea and linked together so that the bracelet can move freely against your skin creating the movement and fluidity of water. The bracelet connects together perfectly with an elegant circular clasp and a series of jump rings to allow the bracelet to comfortably fit a wrist size small, medium or large. On the end of these jump rings hangs a perfect little silver heart.

The length of the bracelet is 18 cm, but the total length, including the clasp and jump rings is 20 cm.
