Mermaid Tail Statement Pendant

Oh how I just love making and wearing this mermaid tail pendant.

I spent hours working on the shape of the tail to emulate the movement as I swim (yes I have a mermaid tail) through the water. I hand cut the mermaid’s tail from recycled sterling silver sheet, adding detail to the tail with a delicate engraving technique. I then texture the rest of her tail by hammering the silver to represent the scales of her beautiful tale. I then shape the pendant to wrap around the chain creating the curve of her tail as if she was diving into or under the waves of the sea. This is a real statement piece measuring 28mm across the tip of mermaid’s tail.

The whole piece hangs on a ball chain to compliment the natural shape of the pendant. Choose from a 16 inch chain, as I am wearing, or a longer 18 inch.
