Ripples Silver Bracelet

This is my most favourite piece of jewellery to make and to wear. I just love its fluidity as I move, it moves with me, the shape and form rippling like the waves on the sea constantly changing, never appearing or feeling the same.

The bracelet is handmade using two widths of recycled sterling silver. Both circles measure approximately 25mm, but the base circle is made wider when I hammer it to create the texture and reflections of water. The top circle is slightly smaller as I use a softer tool to create a lighter texture. The  seven sets of circles are connected by a  jump ring so that they can move freely against your skin creating the movement and fluidity of water. The bracelet connects perfectly with a lobster clasp.

I create my jewellery to be fluid, to move with our bodies, to create the ebb and flow, the swells and the ripples, just as water does.

When wearing this bracelet, I always feel that connection with the sea and the energy created by its constant movement and is the perfect gift for a fellow sea lover.
